This is a preview to a game that has not even come out yet. You SHOULD watch this on an HDTV with surround sound to really enjoy it the way it was meant to be seen.
Some creative gamers painstakingly recreated the level in another game called Portal.
I was amazed and I thought some other geeks might be as well.

i loved halflife 2. (which is the game that portal is from).
i also used to design maps for counterstrike. and it takes a crazy amount of work. these guys must have put tons of hours into doing the remake mirror. wow.
Did you every play through Portal? It is a lot of fun and that last "level" is not to be missed.
sadly, i did not. i bought the orange box when i was back in the states, beat halflife and then ended up leaving the games for my brothers when i headed back to korea.
Whoever made this level works very fast! Some of the stuff in the "Portal + ME" video is from a very recent trailer.
Yeah. I wonder if it wasn't someone from within the Mirror's Edge development team. I imagine they could have created that to test the "real world" feel of the level design before development of the M.E. video demo.
Oh and Ryan, you can pick up Portal for about $20 now!
Did you perhaps pick it up on the 360/PS3 or PC?
If so...
My Gamertag's accross the board are HektikLyfe. (Steam,PSN,XBL) Feel free to add me if you are ever online.
The song played in the background of most ME trailers is Lisa Miskovsky's "still alive".

Great find! As soon as I get home I will download this track. Really relaxing and pseudo futuristic.
Interesting how the two different songs from Portal and Mirror's Edge have the same title. AND heres a video in your blog combining those two games. Hmmmmm.
