>Iris: If you do and you have followers, Blogger doesn't notify them. If you do, be sure to let them know.
>Dawnie: I got used to ignoring those sleepers long ago. Take a look at the amount of people that visit this page and count the amount of comments. I guarantee you that I don't even have a single percent of those nearly 10,000 hits commenting. Once you start getting more traffic, the comments will increase. This is why we must rely on each other, to share traffic. By the way, I really like that rainbow picture you posted on your blog. It totally looks like God is beaming up someone.
i hate it when i write a long thoughtful post (ok, so i've only done that once or twice) and someone leaves a comment that is so obvious they haven't even bothered to read what i wrote, why bother if you can't be bothered?
>Iris: No followers on private blogs I don't think. Unless you enable the feed.
>Rebecca: I rarely get those. When I do I delete them. You need to be popular to get hit by spammers so I'm not quite there yet but I can see how that would be annoying. Great suggestion.
>Better Safe then Sorry: Yeah I get those a lot. Sometimes I just delete them so the people that read the blog don't have to suffer through it. Definitely a good tip.
Good tips - and here's another ... figure out how to back-up your blog. You don't want to loose any of your precious posts. Sadly, I have yet to figure out how to do this, so if anyone knows, I'd appreciate some advice. I recently had a formatting issue and nearly lost 6 months worth of work. Fortunately, I was able to correct the problem - but I still need to back-up just in case.
As for the hits v.s. comments ... so frustrating! My number of comments is nowhere near my number of hits. Its like I'm blogging for mutes! LOL
>Diva: Do you mean the template or the posts themselves?
For the template, in the Dashboard you go to Settings, Layout, Edit HTML and click on the Download Full Template hyperlink. Save that somewhere and you should be OK.
For the blogs, I would just go one by one. Copy from the Edit Window so it should keep relatively the same format if you paste it into a document editor like Microsoft Word.
The cool think about Blogger is that even if you are not done typing something up it saves drafts. This has been one of the more successful blogging sites I have ever used. MySpace being the worst. That thing would crash on my and lose my posts about 40% of the time!!!
As for the Blog Ninja's, just switch up your topics. Occasionally you will hit one that they feel they MUST express their opinion on.

;)
Can I have followers with my private blog?
Tip of the moment: Drive by linkdumping that has nothing to do with the post = tacky.
*goes back to own blog to delete spam links*

bettersafethansorry. That's a good one. I would say if you don't have time come back to read it later.
