Wednesday Weirdness

I appropriated this fun survey from Amorous Rocker at Shannon's Moments of Introspection. Try it.

1. Is there anything hanging from your vehicle's rear view mirror?
Yes. I have a Rockstar Keychain that I got from purchasing the limited edition of GTAIV hanging from my mirror. Yes, I am breaking the law, aren't I a rebel?

2. When you go into the bathroom, do you ever check behind the shower curtain?
EVERY SINGLE TIME. But its not to check for lost humans. Its a search for bugs and spiders. There's nothing worse then trying to evade a stalking predator with your pants down and a turtle.

3. At what age did your mom or dad give you "the talk" about sex?
My dad tried when I was in my early 20's. Yeah, I put him out of his misery quick. I told him to save himself the embarrassment.

4. If you could add anything at all to an airplane to make trips more interesting, what would it be and why?
Amorous Rocker: "Video games!!! I could play during my entire trip and be happy." I couldn't agree more.

5. What is one thing you and your significant other can never seem to agree on?
This is tough to answer. We can disagree but we still fully support each other and value our opinions. I can't think of anything major. Food brands. She is OK with generics, I need brand name Peter Pan Peanut Butter and stuff like that. But its not something to get into a food fight about.

6. Have you ever walked in on someone else having sex? How did you and the people involved react?
I'm glad I haven't. I don't think I know anyone who wouldn't be physically offensive to some degree. I saw 300, I've seen enough man-butt for years.

7. Everyone hears discussions that they consider boring. What is one topic that can put you to sleep quicker than any other?
Biology, Telecommunications and Chemistry. If it isn't theoretical, philosophical or entertaining then I don't care. If the topic doesn't allow participation, like room for debate, my interest will wane.

1. Is there anything hanging from your vehicle's rear view mirror?
No. I keep that area for rear views only. Anything else would distract me. Yes, it would :\

2. When you go into the bathroom, do you ever check behind the shower curtain?
No. But I guess I should start

3. At what age did your mom or dad give you "the talk" about sex?
Never did.

4. If you could add anything at all to an airplane to make trips more interesting, what would it be and why?
I would make them more like ships with rooms where you could walk around and lounge in.

5. What is one thing you and your significant other can never seem to agree on?
LMAO @ your answer to this. I think we can never agree on how we handle our family issues. But we don't fight over it. I just let him be the way he is.

6. Have you ever walked in on someone else having sex? How did you and the people involved react?
Nope. Never

7. Everyone hears discussions that they consider boring. What is one topic that can put you to sleep quicker than any other?
Politics....or people bragging about how much free time or money they have etc... no one cares. Look at the rest of you. You ain't so great.

Thank you for participating. I like these Meme things but I was afraid people wouldn't take to them.

I'm sure they would be super popular on MySpace. Its all about survey's there.

biology is actually a constantly changing field, as opposed to chemistry or physics. so i would say that there is room to debate. in fact, biologists are constantly in disagreement over certain issues (evolution for one, phylogenic relationships, etc.) :) (I'm a bio major by the way, I felt the need to defend it when you said there was no room for debate, because that is one thing that actually separates Bio from other sciences). Anyways, that is my opinion. So i found this blog through your wife's youtube link, liking it so far.

>Jelichi: Sorry about that. It was a poorly worded response on my behalf. I didn't mean that Biology, Telecom or Chemistry weren't theoretical, philosophical, didn't allow participation or had any room for debate. That response was meant to be independent of each sentence. Here is a better format.

Discussions I consider boring;

1. Biology.
2. Telecom.
3. Chemistry.
4. One's that aren't theoretical, philosophical or entertaining.

OR

If they don't allow participation in the form of some type of debate.

BUT....you brought up an interesting argument.

Chemistry and Physics are constantly changing as well. Perhaps not the physical aspects of their existence but our understanding of it. Just when we think the HomoSapien knows it all he is humbled by his own insignificance in the universe by his own overconfidence in his understanding of the way the world works.

Welcome to the blog. I look forward to discussing some of the more theoretical aspects of physical anthropology with you. (That's the closest I can get to a biological interest. ;) )

I wrote a paper in college many years ago about how science and sociology could adversely effect human evolution that I was very proud of. My professor suggested I use it as a thesis until she found out my major was I.T. She was disappointed but it left me with a fond memory.
