That is IF we can recognize those instinctual reflexes that stem from our nature to be alert and aware, and remember its not based on race. Granted back in the day when tribes at war had different looks to each clan (race, dress, ect), looking different indeed meant trouble...because you simply looked different meant you were out of place and might be a threat of some kind(*me imagining crap based on actual studies Ive read, and applying it to this thread* lol).

We are no longer tribesman ( in most of the world anyway) and no longer have a need for those instincts. Racism (extreme prejudice) is a very primitive way of thinking and living, much like violence to solve problems(of course defense of oneself is not included). Education is the key to everything.

I live my life in hope, of a brighter future with each generation of mankind. Lots of primitive ways have fallen out and become obsolete, Racism is alive but it too is on its way out. We are just in the "beginning of the end" of it. Soon (few hundred years) we will all be fairly homogenized humans anyway what with global travel and all.

Excellent post. I think I'll subscribe :DCapsohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03457885468949515890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212720230352979793.post-36106230808485264062009-09-09T11:52:04.003-07:002009-09-09T11:52:04.003-07:00I couldn't believe it either after I graduated...I couldn't believe it either after I graduated. Going to college really opened my eyes to the travesty that they call a public school education.

As for the reverse racism you mentioned that is very true. But since I usually disagree with them that puts me in limbo, in between somewhere where I'm not with them or with "the enemy" so I am alone.HektikLyfehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02865530974330320159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212720230352979793.post-71758630957234106532009-09-04T23:59:55.225-07:002009-09-04T23:59:55.225-07:00I can't believe someone like a teacher would s...I can't believe someone like a teacher would say that! Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15955013813258026137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212720230352979793.post-52924567572697780082009-07-28T13:58:56.796-07:002009-07-28T13:58:56.796-07:00>Douglas: This one accidentally posted before ...>Douglas: This one accidentally posted before it was completed. :S I put the date to save and didn't come back to it in time. Oh well.

>Vivienne: Yeah you believe that. And these people are teachers. Pretty scary. The way it worked to was if I had complained, they would have passed it off as a "misunderstanding." If the news media wants to look at corruption, they needn't always look towards Washington but instead to our own home towns.HektikLyfehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02865530974330320159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212720230352979793.post-39909426455444537352009-07-28T08:19:50.834-07:002009-07-28T08:19:50.834-07:00mexican 'disease' called machismo? you...mexican 'disease' called machismo? you've got to be f*cking kidding me. some people suffer from a disease called ignorance. - obviously you'd have probably gotten expelled for a comment like thatAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212720230352979793.post-77799299087533709942009-07-14T03:56:36.731-07:002009-07-14T03:56:36.731-07:00Excellent! But to do that we have to recognize it exists first and that we haven't purged it from our minds.Douglashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09752593286034877538noreply@blogger.com
